(1) Read: A Minute by the Audit Clerk on the subject of the salary of Mr. SMITH (Cadet).
The Committee recommend that the vote of $584.25 for salary and $127.94 for Chinese
Teacher be approved. These amounts are made up of,-
Salary from 2nd January to 14th February, on half pay, and from 15th February to 30th November, 1884, on full pay, at $1,200 per annum,............
